Organizations certified by EUROPASS must use certificates and logos in accordance with accreditation rules.
Use of the Certificate
EUROPASS management system certificates are valid for three (3) years, provided that surveillance audits result positively.
The rules regarding the use of certificates are specified in the Certification Agreement signed mutually between the EUROPASS and the organization. The organization undertakes to comply with the rules specified in this contract with the contract. Organizations can only use their system certificates within the framework of the rules specified in the contract.
After the certificate is issued, EUROPASS takes organizations to monitor the use of the certificate. Press, broadcast and media are watched in this context. In addition, when complaints from customers and a situation against the determined rules are detected, corrective action is requested from the relevant institution. If the corrective action is not taken within the specified period, the EUROPASS carries out the following actions:
Logo Usage
The EUROPASS logo can be used by organizations that have been successful in the system certification audit performed by EUROPASS.
Organizations certified by EUROPASS must use the logo in accordance with the relevant accreditation rules. A copy of the certificate and logo usage instructions of the relevant accreditation institutions are also given to the organizations that have been awarded the certificate.
EUROPASS logo and certificate cannot be used in departments, affiliates or subsidiaries that are not included in the certificate.
Terms of use of the FQC Logo
The EUROPASS Logo cannot be used as a product certificate.
The EUROPASS Logo cannot be used on the Product (The Product can be directly touched or in a package or box.)
EUROPASS Logo, Products, cardboard, etc. can be used with a statement on the outer packaging made of material to indicate that the certificate belongs to the management system, not the product.
The organization can only use the EUROPASS Logo on its advertising publications, official documents or promotional brochures provided that it complies with the terms of the EUROPASS.
The organization cannot use the EUROPASS Logo in a way that would cause it to be perceived as certified in relation to any uncertified system.
The organization cannot use the EUROPASS logo belonging to its certified system in a way that causes the system to be perceived as certified, for its uncertified system.
When the scope is narrowed for the undocumented system of the organization, it cannot be used in a way that causes it to be perceived as documented for the sections related to the undocumented scope. In this case, it has to change all advertising materials according to the current scope. If EUROPASS detects the use of a logo that is contrary to this specified condition, it has the right to exercise its rights arising from the law and to take action in accordance with legal regulations.
In the event that the certificate is withdrawn / suspended for any reason regarding the certified system of the organization, it cannot be used in a way that causes the certification to be perceived as continuing. In these cases all advertising activities involving a reference to certification must be stopped. If EUROPASS detects the use of a logo that is contrary to this specified requirement, it has the right to exercise its rights arising from the law and to take action in accordance with legal regulations.
In the event that the certificate is revoked for any reason regarding the certified system of the organization, it cannot be used in a way that causes the certification to be perceived as continuing. In these cases all advertising activities involving a reference to certification must be stopped. If EUROPASS detects the use of a logo that is contrary to this specified requirement, it has the right to exercise its rights arising from the law and to take action in accordance with legal regulations.
In the event that the certification period expires regarding the certified system of the organization, it cannot be used in a way that causes the certification to be perceived as continuing. In these cases, all advertising activities involving a reference to certification must be stopped. If EUROPASS detects the use of a logo that is contrary to this specified condition, it has the right to exercise its rights arising from the law and to take action in accordance with legal regulations.
Certification of the management system does not mean that the certification body certifies a product (including service) or process. For this reason, the organization cannot use a product (including service) or process in a way that gives the impression that it has certified,
The organization cannot use it for activities outside the certification scope.
The institution cannot use the certificate it has received in a manner that will compromise the EUROPASS or the reputation of the certification system and lose public trust.
The organization cannot misleadingly use the audit reports submitted to it regarding the certified system for different purposes.
The organization cannot make any changes (color, appearance, etc.) on the EUROPASS logo and must use it in its current form when using it in usage areas.
Rules for the use of the EUROPASS Logo on the product are given below
Product packaging is considered to be the section that is separated without the product falling apart or damaged. Accompanying information is considered to be separate or easily separable. Type labels and identification plates are considered as part of the product. The statement should in no way imply that the product, process or service is certified. In cases where the Organization doubts / is not sure about the suitability of the form in which the EUROPASS logo will be used, approval should be obtained from the EUROPASS Certification Directorate and used as directed.
Customer organizations certified by EUROPASS can use NAC, IPC Accreditation Brands only in accordance with the information contained in the current versions of the following documents:

The term "Promotional Materials" includes notes, labels, documents or written notices attached to products and materials other than products or goods produced under an accredited product certification activity. This restriction also applies to packaging and promotional materials.
NAC Accreditation Symbol should not be used on vehicles.
NAC Accreditation Marks should not be used on buildings or flags.
NAC Accreditation Mark cannot be used on the Product (The product can be touched directly or in a package or box.), Cannot be used on promotional materials, external walls of buildings and laboratory tests, calibration or inspection reports, product packaging.
The use of the logo should definitely be stopped in case of suspension or cancellation of the certification or the cancellation of the contract between EUROPASS and the company. All brochures, packaging, flags, cars, promotional materials, etc. with a logo on it. should be removed from use.
The IAF brand cannot be used by the customer in any way.
The EUROPASS logo and the accreditation mark will be sent to the relevant organizations upon request. In addition, the EUROPASS logo can be found on the EUROPASS website.
Certified organizations are obliged to comply with the provisions of this instruction.
EUROPASS reserves the right to suspend, withdraw, cancel or terminate the certification of organizations that do not fulfill the conditions specified in this instruction. In addition, if the use of logo is detected other than this instruction, it has the right to use its rights arising from the law and to take action in accordance with legal regulations.
